Wageningen University wants to increase its visibility with a striking illuminated facade. In collaboration with designer Henri Ritzen the concept and the overall dimensions are provided, after which DsignMarking translates the idea into a technically feasible and sustainable execution. The goal: a facade signage that enhances the university's identity both day and night.

Approach and technique
Together with the client and in collaboration with Henri Ritzen, drawings are reviewed and various possibilities discussed. This results in a well-thought-out design that convinces both visually and technically.
A project like this requires more than just installing a sign. Structural calculations, light distribution, and the impact of wind, rain, and temperature on the materials are carefully considered. An important aspect is the installation: how the facade signage is mounted, what provisions are needed for maintenance, and how we ensure the end result is durable and reliable.
