From idea to impact

On behalf of ING and according to the interior design by Ce. architects & designers, DsignMarking develops various unique specials for 285 bank branches. After a thorough inventory of customer needs and requirements, our team translates these into striking, creative, and innovative solutions.

DsignMarking oversees the entire process from translating the design to materialization, prototypes, and implementation. That means: 3D prints, prototypes, materialization, production choices, and intensive testing phases. This ensures each product is not only visually appealing but also functional and durable in use.

Some examples of the specials we developed:

The Blob – an internet terminal with narrowcasting, displaying information and content dynamically, where customers can also do online banking.
The Kidspod – a children's seat with digital play functions, designed to entertain children while parents handle their banking.
Rotating screens on the counter – made of steel with a Corian casing, for both bank employees and customers.
In-store TVs – steel powder-coated casing for narrowcasting and displaying queue numbers.

These products are used in no less than 285 bank branches throughout the Netherlands and contribute to a distinctive, functional, and modern experience in the stores. The assembly and production of various components were realized in collaboration with the social enterprise Paswerk.

The result

A series of specials that enhance the ING brand experience, improve customer interaction, and give each bank branch an innovative appearance. Each object is an example of craftsmanship, design, and technical expertise that seamlessly aligns with the customer's desires.
