Signposting that provides direction and calm

For Essent, we translated the Storytelling concept into concrete signage on glass walls, walls, and lockers. We also developed the routing and signage program from concept to execution. Such a program includes a large number of components and requires a thoughtful approach.

The design focused not only on the physical signage design but also on creating a detailed signage plan. From indications at the entrances to room signs: each component contributes to a logical, consistent, and user-friendly route experience.

A good signage system does not draw attention from the visitor, but almost unconsciously and without doubt guides them to the right place. Consistency plays a key role in the use of words, placement, and design. Clear logic, consistent design

In the design, we considered important ergonomic aspects: visibility, prominence, readability and comprehensibility. We also carefully analyzed how the different organizational parts are housed, what dynamics exist, and how often changes occur. The result: a clear, consistent, and future-proof signage system that intuitively guides visitors and fits with the identity of Essent.
